Greenfield Băneasa, awarded „Best Affordable Housing Project” at RED Global Awards 2026 

We have news that brings us joy and motivation: GREENFIELD Băneasa, the residential project developed by IMPACT Developer & Contractor, has been named the winner of the award „Best Affordable Housing Project” within the RED Global Awards, one of the most prestigious international platforms dedicated to the real estate industry. The largest residential complex in northern Bucharest, located near Băneasa Forest, was recognized for its high-quality, sustainable, and cost-effective housing. 

International recognition, for the first time in Romania 

The RED Global Awards took place in Bucharest on June 17th, in partnership with Forbes Romania, marking the first edition in our country of a competition traditionally organized in international centers such as New York and Miami. Considered a barometer of future directions in the real estate industry, the competition represents a symbol of recognition at the highest level. 

The distinction came following a rigorous evaluation by an independent professional jury, composed of industry leaders, including Selman Yalcin, the founder of the RED Awards. 

Affordable housing 

GREENFIELD Băneasa demonstrates that affordable housing can be developed at scale without compromising quality of life, sustainability, or long-term value. The complex follows the principles 15-minute city, bringing together housing, education, commercial spaces, wellbeing facilities, green areas, and everyday services within an integrated community designed to reduce long commutes and support a healthier lifestyle. 

Among the elements that define the neighborhood are: 

• two private parks and a generous urban layout with wide, pedestrian-friendly boulevards and sidewalks; 

• approximately 9,000 sq m dedicated to sports and wellness activities within Wellness Club by Greenfield; 

• The Greenfield Plaza shopping center and an ever-widening range of services for everyday life; 

• educational infrastructure: a private campus and a ultra-modern, developing public educational center;
