Greenfield Family Run, one more step towards nature
Back to blogWhen you have serene thoughts and good intentions, time is on your side. We don't know if there's a Romanian proverb on this theme, but we know that on Sunday we certainly experienced one of the most beautiful days in the „life” of the neighborhood embraced by the forest.
Beside you from the very beginning Baneasa Forest Run, one of the most beautiful amateur sporting events. At the March 24th edition, we wholeheartedly supported the youngest and most popular race of the day, Greenfield Family Run.
Organized as a non-competitive event, our community's family race saw over a thousand participants, ranging in age from 3 years old to 25 for women and 70 for men.
Dozens of little ones enjoyed a good dose of sunshine, fresh air, and outdoor exercise, taking the first step towards a healthy lifestyle where nature is an integral part of their living environment, loved, respected, and protected.
If we also consider the satisfaction of crossing the finish line alongside loved ones, whether they were brothers, sisters, parents, grandparents, or even puppies, we can say that our goal was achieved.
Proof that our endeavor was highly impactful is also the presence alongside us and the participants of some of the luckiest children: Sophia with her father (taticool.eu), Ruxi with her mom Ioana (ioanaginghina.ro) or Ema and her mother Anca (blogintandem.roenjoyed one of the most beautiful experiences of their childhood.
Greenfield Family Run It's more than just about running. It's about health and spending time with loved ones. It's the education we give to the little ones about a love for nature, sports, and fresh air.
We promise that we will not abandon this creed and that in the future our contribution to such events will be increasingly greater.
