Impact Events – Sports Festival
The first edition of the Sports Festival kicked off in Iași on the weekend of July 15-17, where thousands of sports enthusiasts participated in the seven events: trail running, road running, mountain biking, obstacle course racing, orienteering, a children's race, and a race for people with disabilities.
In its first edition, the festival in Iași was organized by the Running, Skiing, and MTB Camps and Circuits, with the support of the company IMPACT Developer & Contractor and the City Hall, with the support of many other sponsors and the local authorities of Iași.
”Together with IMPACT Developer & Contractor, we managed to organize a large-scale event in an entirely new area for us, but an area with enormous sporting potential. The success of the event was due, on the one hand, to our team's over 13 years of experience in organizing large-scale sporting events, such as Marathon7500 – one of the toughest mountain running competitions in Romania, and, on the other hand, to the support we received from IMPACT Developer & Contractor. Thanks to them, we were able to deliver an event that raised the bar for profile events in Romania.”, stated Silviu Bălan, the main organizer of the event.
In addition to the actual sports competitions, sports workshops and film and documentary screenings were organized during these three days. The sports competitions for adults attracted over 500 registrations, 300 children registered for the events specially designed for them, over 160 volunteers were responsible for the smooth running of the event, and thousands of spectators encouraged the athletes on each of the three days of the festival.

Greenfield Sports Festival
Series ”Impact Events”supported by IMPACT Developer & Contractor, continues in Bucharest with the Greenfield Sports Festival, from September 16-18, 2022. Numerous athletes will meet in front of the Greenfield Plaza strip mall to participate in running, cycling, or orienteering events. Additionally, the event is also open to children, including a running race dedicated to them, organized in four age categories, with free registration.
