Just a few kilometers away from you is one of the most accessible areas for outdoor excursions, with or without a bicycle. Spanning almost 900 hectares, Băneasa Forest offers such a generous space for activities related to psycho-physical development in harmony with nature and all that it offers us best: clean air, tranquility, and the satisfaction of spending real „quality time.”.
Discover the forest trail – between adrenaline and relaxation
The route we propose extends for several kilometers and is not highly difficult. The elevation changes are no more than 1-2 meters, and along its path, long and wide sections (paved in some parts) blend harmoniously with single-track trails.
This is an easy trail, suitable for beginners, but also for advanced riders who can practice tight cornering techniques (at high speed or cruising), as well as bike control maneuvers such as skidding, narrow spaces, and sudden braking on straight sections or in turns.
On the route that goes by our neighborhood GREENFIELD Băneasa, you can feel the adrenaline of the competitions that take place periodically in the area, such as Greenfield Sports Festival, or you can simply admire the forest or what we call our playground.
Without too many roots or branches appearing out of nowhere in the path, you can set the difficulty level of the trail yourself by the type of bicycle used, the speed at which you ride it, or the maneuvers you attempt.
