Belonging to the Greenfield community also means social responsibility.

Back to blog
Ever since our neighborhood was founded, we have viewed our proximity to nature as both a privilege and a responsibility. Over the years, the Greenfield community has grown day by day, and got rich with responsible people who enthusiastically participate in the various ecological and planting activities initiated in the area Greenfield Băneasa ensemble.

Thus, we have come to know that whenever needed, we can rely on kind-hearted people, lovers of beauty and cleanliness, always ready to take care of the environment as if it were their own home. They are the people for whom Social responsibility It doesn't just stop at actions done by participating in dedicated events, but they have also made their environmental protection a lifestyle.

Membership in such a community is not acquired by simply purchasing a new apartment in sector 1 Bucharest, it implies adapting to a set of rules that, in addition to good neighborliness, also means increased attention to Ecology.

It goes without saying that trash can never be thrown away randomly. We won't dwell on the disastrous environmental effects of plastic or cigarette butts. If you've read this far, it means that environmental protection is an area of interest for you, and we thank you.

It’s good to know, however, that there are several recycling collection points in our residential complex; all you have to do is find the one closest to your apartment building. Plastic, paper, metal, and glass, as well as small electrical and electronic devices, light bulbs, and batteries, are collected separately and then transported to a sorting and recycling center. Please also note that, as a resident of the Greenfield residential complex, you have the option to collection for recycling of cooking oil Stretch without moving outside of the neighborhood.

Never underestimate the power of leading by example, and be a role model for your neighbors—perhaps even help them understand how to recycle properly:

  • Containers
Plastic, with or without a lid, is collected without removing the labels,
which are to be removed during the recycling process. If
possibly, it is preferable that they be washed with water and dried beforehand.
The containers are pressed as much as possible to reduce volume.
  • Bottles
and the jars are washed and, as much as possible, dried before being placed in
the dedicated separate collection container. They can be left with the label/film
removed, but the metal lids must be removed (they will be collected
separately, along with other metal objects). Every effort will be made to
prevent glass breakage. If, however, the glass breaks, it will wrap
in a bag before throwing it away.
  • Because
sorting in dedicated bins is not always done properly, because
it is customary at specialized centers to also do a manual sorting, and then a
mechanics, which uses an electromagnet, to separate ferrous metals from
non-ferrous metals. To make the separation process easier, in most
cases metal is recycled in the same containers as plastic. They are
then chosen at the sorting stations.
  • For paper and cardboard, remove the adhesive tape from the cardboard boxes. They must be clean, dry, and uncontaminated with food scraps. To occupy as little volume as possible, they should be folded to achieve the flattest possible shape.

If you decide to replace your old or broken appliances, look for buy-back programs offered by specialty retailers. Not only will the people delivering your new appliance take away the old one, but you’ll also receive a discount or a voucher. Together, we’re showing civic spirit. Be a model citizen, too! The residential neighborhood Greenfield Băneasa embraces the Home Wellbeing concept for the community formed in the neighborhood.

So, once you move to Greenfield, please be prepared for the many activities of cleaning up or rejuvenating Baneasa Forest, for tidying up or planting trees right in the neighborhood, but most importantly, be prepared to have fun with friends and family. For all your care for nature, we are already thanking you. Welcome home!
