How we decorated a 2-room apartment in Greenfield in Scandinavian style

When you feel like you're running out of space in your home, that 30-40-50 square meters aren't enough for everything you want from an apartment, it's time to take a break and start reorganizing the space.

You can start with a simple tidying of the space and removal of those items you no longer use and that have been taking up space for some time.

You can choose a complete apartment redecoration and then get inspired by how we decorated in Greenfield 2-room apartment, with a kitchen area, living room, terrace, a stylish bedroom, a relaxation space, and even an office space. Cleverly designed, any house, no matter how small, can become spacious.

The typical Greenfield resident loves nature.

So I chose a natural and calming ambiance for decoration, inspired by the Scandinavian style. Linen, cotton, natural fibers In neutral tones of beige, white, and gray, we'll find them throughout the 2-room apartment. In some cases, the materials and various objects in the house are complemented by fine, nature-inspired drawings. leaves, flowers, feathers, or trees. 

Apartment entrance It's done through the living room. And right at the entrance, you have a space set up for clothes, bags, and shoes.

Next living room, where we find the colors of nature, plants, flowers, and pastel shades, which relax and uplift you.

Tip from an interior designer: Use textiles!
Choose colorful and comfortable cushions for evenings when you want to relax, lounge in front of the TV watching a documentary, and sip a mug of hot cocoa.

Use furniture (cabinets) with mirrors built into the doors, and you will create the illusion of more space.

Also in the living room area, it can be arranged a perfectly functional desk for days when you work from home.

Near the window, we discover another ideal area for relaxation, for those days when you want to snuggle up in your favorite armchair, pull a fluffy blanket over yourself, and read the latest book you bought.

From our kitchen, we have access to balcony, a cozy space just right for savoring coffee in the cool morning air, accompanied by the chirping of birds from Băneasa Forest.

You don't need many things here; a small table and two folding chairs can be a good start for decorating the patio.

In the kitchen The space is utilized to its maximum. We have countertops and built-in appliances from one side of the room to the other, as well as a folding table and two chairs.

For the bedroom Shades of navy blue were chosen along with that grayish blue that we also have in the living room. The sleeping area is large enough to accommodate a double bed, two nightstands, a wardrobe, and a rack for dresses or jackets.

Make the most of any space, even in the bedroom! Choose a bed frame that has its own storage space.

Last but not least, is bay.
The beige tones of the floor and wall tiles inspired us to choose wooden furniture, another natural element that connects us to nature.
I completed the color palette with the same blue that's also found in the bedroom, thus having unity and harmony in colors and elements.

Finding and decorating a space, a home, that represents you isn't as hard as it seems. You can start with a visual storyboard in which you gather all the elements you would like your home to contain. There will probably be too many, but placed side by side, you will see which ones fit together and how, and you will manage to better organize your dreams and desires.
