Study – Impact of the Pandemic
Comparative Study: Greenfield Residents vs. Non-Greenfield Residents.
According to a study commissioned by IMPACT Developer & Contractor and conducted by the research company Quantix in September 2021, one and a half years after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the main reasons people choose Greenfield are:

Social Responsibility
The existence of a neighborhood near the forest necessitates the development of initiatives for social responsibility. The residents of our neighborhood live in harmony with nature and in accordance with its laws, respecting and protecting the animals in the area and taking care of the forest and the environment.
Our social responsibility initiatives go in three directions: physically, by planting trees and cleaning forests; morally, by educating those around us to follow worthy role models, concerning significant aspects of existence: a healthy lifestyle, the necessity of maintaining physical fitness, the benefits of parent-child activities, and outdoor exercise.
And last but not least, the donations made by Impact Developer & Contractor, the project's developer, for the development of public services that will serve the entire area, not just the Greenfield neighborhood.

Millions of Euros, the value of donations for projects of public interest
Tree planting
We are active in maintenance and ecological actions taking place in the Băneasa Forest area. We made the promise to plant a tree for each apartment built in Greenfield. So far, together with volunteers, we have managed to plant over 3500 trees in and around Băneasa Forest.
The plantings were guided by Romsilva specialists, who explained both the planting procedure and the beneficial impact of their actions. At Greenfield, it is extremely important to educate children with love and respect for the environment, offering them role models worthy of emulation.
Donations
Our company's efforts are designed to be part of a set of public functions of general interest, focusing on the needs of the communities we are developing, but also for the benefit of those in the vicinity of Sector 1 – the Northern area.
Impact builds sustainably and creates a living environment of the highest quality standards and with an increased degree of comfort. In this regard, to improve citizens' lives, it actively engages through donations, the amount of which will reach 8 million euros.
In 2017, Impact donated 6,000 sqm to PMB, valued at 1.8 million Euros, in compensation for the forest fund, so that Vadul Moldovei Street returns to the status of public drum. View details.
In July 2020, I submitted a donation offer to the Archdiocese of Bucharest for a plot of land. 1,800 m2 worth 497,000 Euros, for the construction of a Church, in the Greenfield area.
In order to build a school and a state kindergarten, Impact donated the land and the necessary project for their construction to the Bucharest City Hall, both totaling 1.75 million Euros. The donation was accepted by the General Council of Bucharest Municipality in the meeting of July 15, 2020.
Impact has donated land with an area of 1,400 m² and will be responsible for the construction of a modern STB terminal, provided under an indefinite and free gratuitous loan agreement to STB (Bucharest Transport Company). The value of the donation and the entire project carried out by Impact amounts to 750,000 Euros.
2 million Euros this is the sum allocated for the construction of the 3 additional access roads, this sum including land 5.149 sq m, but also the design and execution of these roads. After the completion of the works, they will be donated to the authorized authorities, to enter into the administration of public domain.
For the expansion of public utility networks, costs are estimated at 1 million Euros, after completion, they will become part of the assets of the operators and utility providers. Also 3,500 sq m of land worth 600,000 Euros it will be made available to the authorities for mixed public functions.
Clean & Run – Plogging
In October 2019, I launched an event – a plogging event: Clean and Run, the largest Running and Cleanup initiative in Baneasa Forest, which gives participants the opportunity to exercise in nature and, at the same time, be environmentally responsible through civic action, collecting garbage from nature.
Clean and Run means movement and environmental care, responsibility, and civic spirit. We want plogging to become a popular concept in Romania, practiced as often as possible, for added health and a clean, normal nature.
The Greenfield community has shown its interest in civic actions, setting an example for their peers and keeping nature clean. The Great Cleanup is an event initiated and held repeatedly by residents of the Greenfield Community.
Building birdhouses
At Greenfield, we take care of the flora and fauna of Băneasa Forest, which is why we've taken actions to help birds, especially during the cold season, but not only then. We involved the Greenfield community in building small houses for birds, carefully placed in trees. The activity made children and adults more responsible and caring towards birds.
Birdwatching Club
To continue educating about the fauna in Băneasa Forest, we have organized free birdwatching clubs to inform residents, especially children, about bird life, their needs, and how to enjoy the forest without disturbing the wildlife.
Traditions and values
With the desire to carry forward Romanian customs in a constantly changing society, we periodically organize activities in the neighborhood to preserve and promote traditions, especially among the youth. We want to actively contribute to the formation of a community with principles and values, starting with the youngest residents of the complex.
Romanian Christmas carols are a delight specific to this holiday, just as painting Easter eggs remains one of the favorite activities of children. We believe in the power of example in the formative process of the younger generation, which is why we organized cultural and entertainment activities on the occasion of Christmas and Easter.
Sports activities
We promote an active, healthy lifestyle, encourage outdoor activities, support sports, and proudly participate in athletic competitions.
- In 2019, Greenfield was the main sponsor of Băneasa Forest Run, which reached its 4th edition and was attended by 1,500 people.
- Another sporting competition that Greenfield supports is Băneasa Race, which already has 5 editions, the last event gathering over 1,200 participants.
- The most popular competition in which Greenfield had a dedicated race, the Greenfield Relay, was part of the Bucharest Half Marathon, which had 18,000 participants.
- In 2019, Greenfield launched a duathlon sports competition, together with Road Grand Tour, the first edition of the GREENFIELD DUO CHALLENGE being a real success.
